Phillip Bruce Danyew, was born on October 31, 1986, in Orange County, California. He is an American singer and musician who began his songwriting career during his seventh grade. In 2006, Danyew started his music career, releasing his first extended play, The EP, independently on February 17, 2009. His subsequent releases, Danyew (April 21, 2009) and Wake Up (November 17, 2009), were both released under Sparrow Records. In 2011, Danyew formed the band Hitpoints. He joined Foster the People as a touring member in late 2013. Danyew has produced music for various artists including HalfNoise, Katelyn Tarver, Sarah Denham and Danae. Notable releases include "Friends for Life" (August 16, 2019), which was released via Old Wizard Records as a tribute to The Beatles.
