The Waiting are an American Christian alternative pop rock band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 1991. The members are Brad Olsen, Todd Olsen, Clark Leake, and Brandon Thompson. The group released their debut studio album, Tillbury Town, in 1991, followed by Blue Belly Sky in 1995. Subsequent releases include the albums The Waiting (1997) and Unfazed (1998). The ensemble released the studio album Wonderfully Made in 2002. In August 2003, the band became inactive for full-time touring. Brad Olsen released the solo album The More I Think I Understand The Less I Can Explain in May 2009, which was produced by Todd Olsen under the nickname “Oats”. The ensemble resumed activity in 2010 and released the single “Name”. In November 2011, Todd Olsen released the solo album A Tear and a Sneer. The group announced work on the album Mysteriet in 2012. The band released recordings through the labels Sparrow Records and Inpop Records.
