Joel Bevacqua, known professionally as Deadly Buda, was an American musician and graffiti artist from Pittsburgh. He adopted the tag "Buda" during high school and developed a distinctive graffiti style called "monster rock." His music career began with his first DJ performance on December 13, 1991. He co-founded the production crew Hear to Go and opened Turbo-Zen Records. Deadly Buda released his debut album Universal Dynamo in 1997, followed by Reverse Engineered in 1998. Notable singles include "Morph Beat" (1995) and "Venus Delta" (1996). His contributions to the rave scene were recognized when a portion of his techno record collection was added to the US Library of Congress in 2005.
