Pure Love was an English-American rock band formed in 2011 by former Gallows vocalist Frank Carter and guitarist Jim Carroll. They established them after Carter departed the punk group Gallows due to creative differences, marking a stylistic shift from the hardcore punk backgrounds of the members. The ensemble debuted their first single, “Bury My Bones” (2012), on BBC Radio 1 before issuing the studio album Anthems (2013), produced by Gil Norton. In February 2014, they announced an indefinite hiatus and released the digital EP The Bunny (2014). They performed their final farewell shows in May 2014. Following the disbandment, Carter formed Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, while Carroll resumed activity with the group American Nightmare and joined the side project Spiral Heads.
