UUFO is the innovative DJ and producer project created by Yurii Vazhkyi, launched in 2023. Hailing from Ukraine, UUFO has crafted a distinct sound that fuses the uplifting rhythms of Trance with the dynamic, emotion-filled beats of Melodic House & Techno, rapidly making a mark on the global electronic music scene.
In a short span, UUFO has achieved notable success and recognition. One of the early milestones was creating an official remix for Armin van Buuren's track "Vulnerable" featuring Vanessa Campagna. This remix was not only featured in Armin’s set at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami in 2023 but also included in his album "Feel Again Remixed." The remix won the prestigious "Future Favorite" nomination on the renowned A State of Trance show.
UUFO's debut single, "Energize," was released on the A State of Trance label, a sublabel of the leading dance music label Armada Music. The track gained massive support and was played by Armin van Buuren at major festivals such as Ultra and Tomorrowland. Following this successful debut, UUFO continued to release several tracks on Armada, further solidifying his place in the electronic music world.
Touring worldwide, UUFO delivers unique and captivating sets that blend melodic house, techno, trance, progressive, and house music. His performances at prominent festivals like Untold in Romania and Summer Sound in Finland, as well as club gigs around the globe, showcase his versatility and growing popularity. A significant highlight in UUFO's career was an exclusive one-hour guest mix at the A State of Trance radio show studio in Amsterdam, a testament to his rising influence in the dance music community.
In addition to his musical achievements, UUFO has also ventured into label management. In the summer of 2024, he co-founded the label Catalystic with fellow Ukrainian artist Cubicore. The label has already garnered support from top artists like Armin van Buuren and Above & Beyond, indicating a promising future ahead.
A distinctive feature of UUFO’s profile is his filmed outdoor DJ sets, available on YouTube.
