Classixx is an American electronic music record production and DJ duo based in Los Angeles, formed soon after 2005 by Michael David and Tyler Blake. The duo, who were childhood friends from the suburbs of Los Angeles, started a DJ duo with a shared love for classic compilations of different music. Their debut single, "I'll Get You" featuring Jeppe, was released on Kitsuné Records in 2009. Their first album, Hanging Gardens (2013), was released via Innovative Leisure, showcasing a smooth blend of disco, new wave, funk, house, and indie rock. Their second album, Faraway Reach (2016), featured guest appearances by Passion Pit, T-Pain, and How to Dress Well. Classixx produced notable remixes for artists such as Phoenix, Mayer Hawthorne, and Ladyhawke. Singles included "Holding On" (2013), "Santa Domino" (2013), and "Whatever I Want" featuring T-Pain (2015).
