The Apers, a Dutch punk rock band from Rotterdam, formed in 1996. The group initially gained traction with their early EPs Scooters In Spain / Phat Pack Punxuals (1997) and Teenage Drama Every Kid Will Understand (2000). Their debut album, The Apers, was released in 2001 on Stardumb Records. The band's discography includes notable albums such as Reanimate My Heart (2007), which was released on Sonic Rendezvous Records in Europe and Insubordination Records in the US, and Confetti On The Floor (2014). Throughout their career, The Apers have played approximately 700 shows across Europe and the USA. Their notable singles include "Love Is A Battlefield and We´re The Stormtroopers" (1998) and "Eyes Open Wide" (2001).
