Single File was an American alternative rock band from Westminster, Colorado, formed in 2003. The group originally performed as a swing jazz quintet called Jackpot Charlie during high school before transitioning to a pop punk sound. The ensemble self-released its debut EP, As You Were, in 2003, followed by Heartbreak & Masturbation in 2005. After signing with Reprise Records in 2006, the band achieved local success with the single “Zombies Ate My Neighbors”, which received regular airplay on Denver radio station KTCL. That same year, the group was recognized as one of the top ten unsigned bands on MySpace. In July 2008, the band released the EP No More Sadface, which reached number 43 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Their debut studio album, Common Struggles, was produced by Howard Benson and released on 7 April 2009. The band toured with acts such as Alkaline Trio before disbanding in 2010.
