Marek Biliński, born on May 17, 1953, in Szczecin, Poland, is a composer known for his work in electronic music that deduces from classical and romantic standards. He graduated from the Academy of Music in Poznań. Biliński's breakthrough came with the album Ogród Króla Świtu (The Garden of the King of Dawn) in 1983, which included the hit single "Dom w Dolinie Mgieł / Ucieczka z tropiku". He was awarded a Gold Disc and performed extensively across Europe and the Middle East, including in Berlin, Hamburg, Bremen, Prague, Moscow, and Kuwait. From 1986 to 1990, Biliński taught at the Academy of Music in Kuwait, composing works with Arabic influences. After returning to Poland, he released albums like Dziecko Słońca (The Child of the Sun) and collaborated on projects such as the ballet The Child of the Sun, created by choreographer Ewa Wycichowska and performed by the Polish Theater of Dance.
