A French singer from Bandol in the Var region, Léa Zelia joined the music school of Richard Cross, a former Star Academy teacher, at the age of seventeen, without passing the audition stage. After a year's training in singing and dancing, she found work as a backing singer and dancer, taking part in Clara Morgane's tour and working with Inna Modja. In 2012, she signed up for the second season of the reality TV show L'île des vérités to raise her profile, and spent some time in Tahiti. However, it wasn't until 2023 that Léa Zelia broke into the music scene with her duet "Les Regrets" with rapper Yanns. Although it wasn't a big hit, her next track with Edward Maya, "Plus l'Time (Stereo Love)" (2024), rocketed up the charts of online listening and voice recognition platforms, peaking at number 187 in the SNEP singles chart.
