Håvard Lund is a Norwegian jazz musician born in 1971. He graduated from the Jazz Program at the Trondheim Musikkonservatorium in 1993. Lund’s early professional career involved collaborations with ensembles including Farmers Market, Frode Fjellheim Jazz Joik Ensemble, the Torbjørn Sunde Octet, and the Trondheim Jazz Orchestra. Between 1996 and 2002, Lund composed music for several theatrical productions at venues such as the Trøndelag Teater and the Det Norske Teatret. He performed with the Forsvarets Musikkorps Nord-Norge as a clarinetist from 2003 to 2008 and served as the festival artist for the Festspillene i Nord-Norge in 2006. Lund’s recording career features the albums Letters (1996), Fest (2009), My Sister Said (2010), Blix By Lund (2012), Ti Mordballader Og En Om Kjærlighet (2015), Dreams Of Boundless Time (2021), and Stillferdig Ønske (2023). He also established the workspace The Arctic Hideaway and joined the consultancy Lund & Raanes AS in 2022.
