New Look was a Canadian electronic music duo formed in 2005, consisting of husband and wife Adam Pavao and Sarah Ruba. The band released their first EP How's My Hair? in 2008. Their debut album New Look was recorded in Berlin and released on the record label !K7 in 2011, receiving critical acclaim from publications such as The Guardian and Vogue. The duo split their time between Toronto, Canada, where they maintained a house and studio, and New York City. In 2010, they toured with English indie pop band The xx. Their music was influenced by '80s sounds, incorporating elements of modern electro, pop, dubstep, soul, and R&B.
