Kaare Norge, born July 12, 1963, in Denmark, is a Danish classical guitarist known for a crossover repertoire that extends beyond the traditional classical guitar canon. Norge graduated from the Jutland Academy of Music in 1988 and has performed over 2000 concerts at home and abroad. In 1991, he became the first classical musician to perform at the Roskilde Festival. His album La Guitarra (1994) brought him international recognition, particularly for his arrangement of Led Zeppelin’s "Stairway to Heaven". His discography includes releases such as Morning Has Broken (1998), Classic (1998), and Christmas (1999).
