Bracha Eden, born on July 15, 1928, in Israel, was a pianist known for her duo performances with Alexander Tamir. She studied at the Rubin Academy under Alexander Schroeder and formed their piano duo in 1952. Their debut performance took place in Israel in 1954. The duo won the Vercelli Competition in 1957 and embarked on regular tours worldwide, performing both recitals and concertos with major orchestras. They became senior professors at the Rubin Academy. Their repertoire included complete works for two pianos by composers such as Brahms, Mendelssohn, and Mozart, earning them the Grand Prix du Disque for their recording of Brahms' Sonata in F minor for Two Pianos, Op. 34b. Eden passed away on May 23, 2006.
