Dori Ghezzi is an Italian singer who was active between 1966 and 1990. She began her music career after winning a regional song festival in 1966, which led to a recording contract with Durium Records. Her early singles included "Vivere per vivere" and "Casatschock". Ghezzi's first appearance at the Festival di Sanremo came in 1970 with "Occhi a mandorla," performed with Rossano. She collaborated extensively with Wess, an American singer, forming one of Italy's most successful duos in the 1970s. Together they released hits like "Voglio stare con te" and represented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 1975 with "Era." Ghezzi retired from performing in 1990 due to health issues affecting her voice and has only made rare and minor contributions to recordings by other artists.
