Damien Leo Leith, born on January 18, 1976, in Dublin, Ireland, is an Irish-Australian singer-songwriter. As a teenager, he formed a family band called Leaf with his siblings and later moved to Sydney, where he performed at high-profile venues as the frontman for Revelate. His breakthrough came when he won the fourth series of Network Ten’s Australian Idol in 2006. His victory marked a significant milestone, making him one of the oldest winners of any Idol series worldwide. Following his win, Damien Leo Leith signed with Sony BMG and released his debut single "Night of My Life", which debuted at Number 1 on the ARIA Charts and stayed there for four weeks. His first album, The Winner's Journey, was also a commercial success, reaching Number 1 and achieving platinum certification. Subsequent albums include Where We Land (2007), Catch The Wind: Songs Of A Generation (2008), Remember June (2009), Roy (2011), Now & Then (2012), and Chapter Seven (2013). Notable singles include "To Get To You" and "22 Steps". He has been awarded seven platinum and one gold certification for albums and singles by ARIA.
