All We Leave Behind was formed in 2018 by 2 musicians already experienced in the scene
Grenoble, POG and Olaf, who wanted to share Doom, Goth and Death influences, ranging from
Black Sabbath to Paradise Lost, via My Dying Bride, Type O Negative and Candlemass.
POG provides the guitar parts, Olaf starts on drums and clean vocals. They compose
quickly some pieces which already lay the foundations of the style of the group then seek
actively other musicians to complete and enrich the group. Guillaume, former companion
road from POG very quickly joined the group as bassist, then Loïc arrived on guitar to
thicken the sound and allow to develop the haunting melodies of the group.
After the unsuccessful attempt of a singer with the "Death" voice at the end of 2019, POG launches and now ensures
the vocals “Growl” complementing Olaf’s disenchanted clean vocals. The group is complete
to share his uncompromising vision of our society, addressing in turn the issues of
ecology, religion and the fragility of the human condition.
The group is refining its repertoire and preparing to go on stage, but wrecks the COVID and its
procession of confinements come to break this beautiful dynamic. The group does not remain the arms
crossed paths and takes the opportunity to work on his stage placement and improve his recordings,
still in home studio.
At the end of 2020, Guillaume chooses to leave the group, he is replaced at the beginning of 2021 by Jérôme aka Jr.
Scrumb, pillar of the Grenoble metal scene for years.
The year 2021 is marked by the first stage steps of the group at Michel Musique then at
Ampérage within the framework of the DMMs in the first part of General Cluster, former group of Olaf.
Simultaneously, the band felt the need to add a symphonic touch to their style and Tony, the
son of POG, joined the group on keyboards and samples, immediately participating in the composition of
new songs and the adaptation of older repertoire.
2022 marks the stage debut of this new line-up, still with Michel Musique, for a live
which reinforces the group in the chosen artistic direction.
In August 2022, Olaf, founding member of the group, drummer and singer for 4 years leaves the adventure
All we leave behind. Tony, drummer by trade, has the heavy task of succeeding him, a first concert
is already planned at Michel Musique on 05/11/2022 and the group plans to record an album in
2023.
