Gabriel Le Mar, born Gabriel Mastichidis in 1966 in Berlin, is a German music producer known for his work in electronic music. He began his career in 1994 with the sound system Dub Mix Convention with DJ Reverend and Marcus Darius, playing nu-school-dub and experimental live overdubs. Their self-titled album was released in 1999. Prior to this, Le Mar had also initiated the local dub sound system "Serious Dropout" and collaborated on several albums with artists like The Rootsman, Mad Professor, and Drumhead. He also contributed to the ambient music project Aural Float, releasing Introspectives in 1995. Throughout his career, Le Mar has released numerous solo albums, including Gab's Lab (1999), Hear And Now (2002), and Nightradio (2004). He collaborated with Dr. Motte on the album Dr. Motte Meets Gabriel Le Mar (2009) and performed at major festivals including Time Warp, Deichbrand, and Roskilde Festival.
