Sophie Yates is a British harpsichordist. She studied at the Royal College of Music in London. Her career began after winning the Erwin Bodky International Harpsichord Competition at the Boston Early Music Festival. Yates performs in Europe, the United States, and Japan. Her recordings include albums for the Chandos label. Accolades include a German Record Award and a nomination for a Gramophone Classical Music Award. Her releases include the albums French Baroque Harpsichord (2000), Harpsichord Works: Volume 3 (2002), and Complete English Suites (2021).
