Luis López Sáez, known professionally as Luis Lopez, and born on January 14, 1970, in Requena, Spain, is a nightclub DJ, remixer, and producer. He began his career as a radio DJ in 1990 after winning a contest hosted by Radio Los 40. In 2002, he joined Máxima FM to present Selección Vital, and later moved to Los 40 to host World Dance Music (WDM), which became one of the most listened-to dance music programs in Spanish-speaking countries. His residency at Pacha Ibiza in 2004 marked a significant milestone, sharing stages with artists like Carl Cox and Pete Tong. His breakthrough came with the release of Burnin the Vynil (2007). In 2009, he closed Madonna's concert in Valencia and received the Deejaymag Special Award for expanding Spanish dance music to Latin America. Notable singles include "Shine" (2009), "Not the One" (2011), and "Lay Me Down" (2012). In 2020, Lopez announced his retirement from WDM after 18 years.
