Werle & Stankowski was a German indietronic group from Cologne, formed in 2003. The duo consisted of Johannes Stankowski and Simon Werle. The band was established to compose the soundtrack for the film Una. On March 29, 2004, the group released its debut album Your Show through the labels Haute Areal and Sitzer Records. The band released the Sound of My Guitar EP in 2005. On February 23, 2007, the duo released the album Listen to Werle & Stankowski through Virgin Records. The release featured the recordings "After All" and "Lady Grey". The group performed as a support act for Blackmail and 2raumwohnung and appeared annually at the festival Lit.Cologne. The band announced its intention to end its collaboration in late 2008 and performed a farewell concert on January 30, 2009, at the Subway in Cologne. In 2009, the group released the recording "Cologne". The band became inactive in 2009.
