Samsons (stylised SamSonS), an Indonesian pop‑rock group formed in Jakarta in 2003, began with vocalist Adrian Martadinata and guitarists Irfan Aulia and Erik Partogi Siagian, with bassist Aldri Dataviadi. Their breakthrough came with the 2005 album Naluri Lelaki, which sold over 1.1 million copies and earned multi‑platinum status and several Anugerah Musik Indonesia awards in 2006, including Best Newcomer and Best Album. The band followed with the 2007 album Penantian Hidup and the self‑titled 2009 album Samsons, the latter reaching multi‑platinum with the single "Tak Ada Tempat Seperti Surga". In 2013, Aria Dinata joined as vocalist for the 2013 album Perihal Besar, releasing the hit "Di Ujung Jalan". Subsequent singles "I Love You" (2016) and "Cinta Mati" (2017) maintained chart presence. The 2020 album V featured these singles and marked the end of Aria Dinata’s tenure; Adrian Martadinata returned as vocalist in 2022, leading to the singles "Rayu" and "Rasa yang Salah".
