Elsie Bianchi Brunner was a Swiss jazz pianist and singer born in Switzerland in 1930. Elsie Brunner performed at the Jazz Festival Zürich between 1951 and 1954. In 1956, they married the musician Siro Bianchi and formed a duo that later expanded into the Elsie Bianchi Trio. The ensemble performed in the United States at the Lighthouse Cafe between 1958 and 1959. Brunner's discography includes the recording Elsie Bianchi Trio (1962) and the album The Sweetest Sound (1965). They became inactive as a professional musician in 1978. Posthumous releases include the recording Atlantis Blues (2005) and the collection Fly Me to the Moon (2011). Brunner died in 2016 in the United States.
