Mark Lui Lei, born on July 9, 1969 in Hong Kong, is a singer-songwriter, composer, and producer known for his contributions to Cantopop. He attended St. Paul's Co-educational College and Allhallows College before pursuing his music career. His breakthrough came with the release of his debut album 雷頌德音樂新世代個人作品集 in 1997, which showcased his skills as a songwriter. Lui Lei is known for writing and producing notable songs such as "Neighbours" for Hacken Lee and Alan Tam, "Words of Love Not Yet Spoken" for Leon Lai, and "Everything is Beautiful Because of You" for Kelly Chen.
