Stone Black, a member of the group Carré Rouge, is part of a harder and cruder current of Marseille rap.
Active members of the Marseille rap group Carré Rouge, since 1996, Stone Black MC from Senegal took his first steps in Rap-Game in 1998 with the Street Anthem "Viet Life" in the soundtrack of the movie Taxi produced by Luc Besson.
Inspired by the street and his own experience that he describes in his texts, Stone Black will not stop there since in 1999, he will self-produce with his group "Homme De Terrain" and "La Foule Gronde" their first vinyl EP that will meet with great success.
A second EP will follow in 2001 still self-produced by him and his partners Jazzy Jazz and Manolo "Generation Scarface".
Since his debut in rap | Stone Black | aka | S.T.O.N.E | has always devoted a lot of importance to writing, making him a lyricist recognized by the public and his French rap friends.
Stone Black has collaborated on several projects from South to North France such as Rat Luciano's album, Psy4 De La Rime's album, Sniper clan, Collectif Rap 2, One Mic, Don't Sleep Party and Don't Sleep Party 2, Zonzon's soundtrack (film with Jamel Debbouze) Ares project with Mino
It was in October 2001 that the album entitled "De La Part De L'ombre" will be released with producers such as Dj Djel, Le Rat Luciano, Saïd des Mureaux, Jacoback, Konda and various guests such as Le Venin, Le Rat Luciano, Fell,
Komploz..., followed by the first part of the Fonky Family "Street Art" in all the zeniths of France.
This opus will be followed by "Le Rappel" with unreleased songs and flagship songs by the group Black Braqueur.
Black Braqueur mixtape will be released in 2007 with many featurings mixed by Dj Djel
Death for death we kill ourselves will release in 2009 a street album with featuring such as Carré rouge Kalif Hardcore etc.
Black Braqueur mixtape Vol.2 will be released in 2013 with many unreleased songs all mixed by Dj Soon.
In 2020 he made a brilliant appearance on "L'étoile sur le maillot" certified golden single from 13 Organized and then repeated on the chorus of "On se connaît" produced by Jul.
He plans an album worthy of the name in 2022.
