Charles Elliott "Chuck" Wicks, born on June 20, 1979, in Smyrna, Delaware, is an American singer. Raised on a potato farm, Wicks began his music career by moving to Nashville, Tennessee, after leaving Florida Southern College two classes short of graduation. He honed his songwriting skills, penning over a hundred songs annually, and one of his compositions, "Lead Me On", was recorded by Steve Holy for the 2006 album Brand New Girlfriend. Wicks' breakthrough came in late 2007 when he signed with RCA Records Nashville. His debut single, "Stealing Cinderella", released in September 2007, became a significant hit, reaching number 5 on the country charts and number 56 on the Billboard Hot 100. This success was followed by his debut album Starting Now in January 2008, which peaked at number 7 on the Top Country Albums chart. Notable tracks from this album include "All I Ever Wanted" and "Man of the House", both of which reached the Top 40. Wicks' career continued with the release of his EP Rough in April 2013, followed by his second studio album Turning Point in February 2016. Notable singles from these releases include "Us Again" and "Saturday Afternoon". Throughout his career, Wicks has collaborated with notable artists such as Jason Aldean, whose 2012 album Night Train featured Wicks' song "I Don't Do Lonely Well". Additionally, Wicks co-hosts America's Morning Show on Nash FM.
