Tristan Palmer, born in 1961 in Kingston, Jamaica, is a reggae singer. Palmer began a musical career at an early age, starting by singing with Soul Syndicate guitarist Tony Chin. He released a first recording, "Love Is a Message", produced by Bunny Lee when he was eight years old. A breakthrough came in 1979 with a performance at the General Penitentiary Memorial Concert for Claudie Massop, which also featured Bob Marley. In the early 1980s, Palmer achieved significant success with hits like "Entertainment" (1982) and collaborated with producers such as Nkrumah Jah Thomas and Linval Thompson. Notable albums include Presenting Triston Palma (1981) and Joker Lover (1982). Palmer released music throughout the 1980s and 1990s, including collaborations with Dennis Brown and Beenie Man on the album Three Against War (1995).
