Les Baxter's Balladeers were a 1960s folk group led by Les Baxter. The group consisted of young folk singers and debuted at the Golden Bear in Orange County, California. In 1961, they released their self-titled album on the Reprise label. Notable musicians who passed through the group include David Crosby and his brother Ethan Chip Crosby. The band toured nationally on the folk circuit and appeared on NBC TV's The Lively Ones in September 1963 alongside acts like the Count Basie Sextet and Lisa Kirk.
