Giovanni D'Anzi, born on January 1, 1906, in Milan, Italy, was an Italian composer. He showed early talent for the piano and wrote "O mia bela Madunina" in 1935, dedicated to Milan. D'Anzi collaborated extensively with Alfredo Bracchi from the 1930s to the 1950s, producing over 200 songs, many in Milanese dialect. His compositions included "Nostalgia de Milan" (1932) and "Bambina innamorata" (1937). He also wrote for radio, magazines, and cinema, with notable films including Nonna Felicita (1939) and La vita è bella (1943). D'Anzi's work "Viale d'autunno" won first place at the 1953 Sanremo Music Festival. He retired in the 1960s, moving to Santa Margherita Ligure, where he pursued painting. D'Anzi passed away on April 15, 1974.
