Keff McCulloch, born on 8 July 1954 in the United Kingdom, was a British composer known for his contributions to electronic music. His career breakthrough came in 1987 when he was hired by producer John Nathan-Turner to arrange the Doctor Who theme music for the Seventh Doctor, Sylvester McCoy. This new theme, based on Ron Grainer's original composition and arranged by Delia Derbyshire, was used from 1987 until the series' cancellation in 1989. During this period, McCulloch also composed incidental music scores for six stories, including Time and the Rani and Remembrance of the Daleks. He made a brief on-screen appearance as part of the Lorells in Delta and the Bannermen. Beyond his work on Doctor Who, McCulloch was involved as a musician and sound engineer, touring with various bands and producing singles and albums for artists such as Acker Bilk and Johnny Logan.
