Rosani Reis, a Brazilian singer from Belo Horizonte, began her musical journey with studies in singing, piano, and acting. From 1984 onward, her career included performances, radio recordings, and tours with the band Sagrado Coração da Terra across Brazil. She gained recognition for performing the title song of the telenovela Pantanal. In 1990, Reis moved to Germany and studied jazz singing at the Folkwang University of the Arts. Her debut album, Cafuso, was released in 1992. Throughout her career, she collaborated with musicians such as Uli Beckerhoff, Bruno Castellucci, and Norma Winstone, and performed with her own band. In 2008, she released the album Mosaico. Reis also leads the vocal quartet Chocolate com Laranja, which performs compositions by notable Brazilian artists. She has been a faculty member at the Folkwang University of the Arts and led workshops.
