The Syn, a British rhythm and blues band from England, formed in 1965 as The Selfs and renamed themselves The Syn to shift towards psychedelic rock. In 1967, they released the singles "Created by Clive" and "Flowerman", with the latter becoming a hit in France. The band disbanded later that year. The Syn reformed in 2000 as a side project for Chris Squire while he was part of Yes. They released Syndestructible in 2005, which included the track "Cathedral of Love". Despite plans for a UK tour in 2006, Squire left due to poor ticket sales. The group continued with various lineups and released albums like Armistice Day (2007), Big Sky (2010), and Trustworks (2016). Their live album Live Rosfest, recorded in 2009, was released in 2015.
