Argon was a South Korean boy band formed in 2019 under MSH Entertainment. The group consisted of six members: Kain, Haneul, Roel, Yeoun, Gon, and Jaeun. The group's name was derived from the chemical element argon, symbolizing their versatility across multiple genres and their commitment to continuing art. Prior to Argon's debut, Jaeun had already made his mark as part of the boy band INX, while Kain worked as a backing dancer for BTS. Argon debuted on March 11, 2019, with their first single album Master Key, which included the lead single "Master Key". Their debut showcase was held at Ilji Art Hall in Gangnam on the same day as their debut release. Argon's first extended play, Go Forward: Wide Dream, was released on October 2, 2019, featuring the lead single "Give Me Dat", which charted at number 54 on the Gaon Album Chart.
