Each stage of life will demand a stronger version of you.
Vintage EDM was born in Nova Friburgo, in the interior of Rio de Janeiro, where he lived and studied until he finished high school at the Centro Educacional Mundo Novo Thulher and where his interest in electronic music was born with a Hard Trance CD from an uncle he found. Until then, I really enjoyed the electronics of bands from the 80's, like New Order and Depeche Mode, but I didn't know that side more on the dance floor. He moved to Juiz de Fora, in Minas Gerais, at the age of 19 and enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering, but left the course halfway through to dedicate himself to music. It was in his apartment in Juiz de Fora that Vintage EDM spent three years locked up and focused on his productions. At first, with no money to invest in production equipment, Hebert would go to a LAN house in the neighborhood to download the programs and return home with his Positivo notebook with 128 megabytes of memory, which was a gift from his mother to study and he isolated himself for hours. At the time, he still signed himself as Hebert Silva, but when he realized that he would always be related to DJ HEBERT, an important techno figure in Brazil, he felt the need to create a name for his project. It was while producing a different kind of music that he was trying to master and out of Vintage EDM's passion for oldies music and its 80's influences that came the insight of the name Vintage, which soon gained the complement and turned it into Vintage EDM.
