wassd scho? bassd scho! was a comedy rock-pop band from Nürnberg, Germany. Formed in 1998, they blended radio hits featuring Franconian texts and comedy elements. Their debut album Lebbkoung City (2000) led to performances at major festivals like Rock im Park and Rock am Ring. The band released several albums including Schnalld Eich ohh (2003) and Dodohl Exglusief (2009). Notable releases also included the football-themed CD Mir sinn dä Glubb (2007) dedicated to 1. FC Nürnberg. Frontman Roman Sörgel passed away on January 8, 2023. In his memory, the Servuslä Roman Festival was held in June 2023, with proceeds benefiting Klabautermann e.V., a charity supporting chronically ill children. The band announced their continuation in December 2023, with Rainer Turba and Dieter Zimmerer joining as permanent members.
