Bo Skovhus, born on May 22, 1962 in Ikast, Denmark, is a Danish opera singer specializing as a baritone. He studied at the Aarhus Conservatory and the Royal Opera Academy in Copenhagen. Skovhus' career began in 1988 with his debut at the Volksoper in Vienna, where he has become a regular performer. Skovhus' repertoire includes roles in operas such as Don Giovanni and Le nozze di Figaro. He has performed at major opera houses across Europe, America, and Japan. His discography included Songs by the Sea - A Scandinavian Journey (2008) and Leise Flehen Meine Lieder (2009). Skovhus received the Vienna Flute Clock in 1998 and the Austrian Music Theatre Prize's Goldener Schikaneder for Best Male Supporting Role in 2015.
