Hunter, a Polish heavy metal band, was formed in 1985 in Szczytno, Masuria. The group's early breakthrough came with their debut album Requiem, released in December 1995, which featured thrash/power metal elements and classical solos. In 2003, Hunter released their second studio album Medeis, marking a shift towards a "soul metal" style that became their trademark. The band's subsequent albums, including T.E.L.I... (2005) and HellWood (2009), received critical acclaim. Hunter's 2012 album Królestwo and its follow-up Imperium both achieved gold status in Poland. The band has performed at major festivals like Przystanek Woodstock and released significant compilations such as HolyWood (2006).
