Tony Vincent is an American actor and singer born Anthony Peter Strascina on July 25, 1973, in Albuquerque. He began his career while studying at Belmont University in Nashville. His first recording, “Love Falling Down”, appeared in 1993 and reached Number 1 on the KLYT radio charts. After signing with EMI, Vincent achieved six Number 1 songs on the Billboard radio charts. In 1998, he relocated to New York and joined the cast of the musical Rent. In 2000, he performed the role of Judas Iscariot in the Broadway revival of Jesus Christ Superstar. Vincent performed as Galileo Figaro in the West End production of We Will Rock You between 2002 and 2003. He originated the role of St. Jimmy in the musical American Idiot in 2009. In 2012, he was a contestant on the second season of The Voice, performing the track “We Are the Champions”. His later work included a performance in Rocktopia in 2018.
