Micronologie, a French hip-hop group from Rennes, was formed in 2005 by MCs K.Oni, Safirius, Casta, DJ Sambal, and beatmaker Permone. They gained early recognition by winning the Tremplin des Jeunes Charrues in 2008. Their debut album, Éponyme (2005), was released locally, followed by the EP Eux = M.c's2 (2007). Their breakthrough came with the release of Art rythme éthique (2009) and their selection for the Printemps de Bourges in 2010. In 2011, they released the EP Tubes à essais. Their final studio album, Équations verbales, was released in 2014. After a period of inactivity starting in 2018, Micronologie reunited briefly in 2024 for a concert at Le Liberté.
