Avi Belleli, born on October 27, 1963, in Givʿatajim, Israel, is a singer and bassist known for his work in alternative rock and rock music. He taught himself guitar and electric bass before co-founding the Tel-Aviv-based rock band Nikmat HaTraktor (Tractor’s Revenge) in 1988, where he served as lead singer and bassist. The band collaborated with notable figures such as Ohad Naharin and the Batsheva Dance Company. Belleli's first film composition was for the Israeli television series Florentine in 1998. His compositions have earned him several awards, such as the Academy of Cinema and Television Award for the score of Joy in 2005.
