Thea Eichholz

Thea Eichholz, born Dorothea Eichholz in 1966 in Sauerland, Germany, is a singer and songwriter of Christian pop music. She received early musical training in piano and flute and began her professional career as a chorus member in the musical tour Jona, produced by Johannes Nitsch and Eckart zur Nieden. In 1996, she formed the trio Layna with her husband Bernd-Martin Müller and Ingo Beckmann, and in 1999, she joined the musical cabaret group Die Mütter with Carola Rink and Margarete Kosse. Thea Eichholz-Müller released her debut solo album Breite Deine Flügel Aus in 2005 through Gerth Medien, which earned the Impala Silver Award in 2012 for selling over 20,000 copies. She released her second album, Anders als zuvor, in 2012.
