Lesbians on Ecstasy, a Canadian electronic music group from Montreal, Quebec, was formed in 2003. The band initially consisted of Lynne T, known as Fruity Frankie, on vocals and Bernie Bankrupt on keyboards. They were later joined by Véronique Mystique on bass and Jackie the Jackhammer on drums. Their debut album, Lesbians on Ecstasy, was released in 2004, following a tour supporting Le Tigre. The group's second release, Giggles in the Dark, featured remixes from various artists, including Le Tigre and Tracy and the Plastics, and was published in September 2005. Their third album, We Know You Know, came out in 2007. Notable achievements include being named "album of the year" by The Advocate for their self-titled debut and having "Bitchsy" featured on the television series Queer as Folk.
