OVERSEA is the immersive electronic project of Swiss composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Sebastien Heintz.
Blending cinematic ambient, textural electronic music and electro-acoustic instrumentation, OVERSEA creates expansive sonic environments where deep listening becomes an experience in itself. Drawing from guitars, synthesizers, piano and organic sound textures, his music moves between contemplative stillness and hypnotic rhythmic motion.
At the heart of the project lies an exploration of the relationship between sound, perception and consciousness. Influenced by psychoacoustics, neuroscience and transcendental listening traditions, OVERSEA crafts compositions designed to shift attention, regulate emotional states and open spaces for introspection.
Sebastien’s background as a touring musician, producer and researcher informs a practice that bridges art, science and inner exploration. His work unfolds through albums, immersive live performances and long-form sound journeys that invite audiences into deeper states of presence, awareness and transcendence.
His debut full-length album BEYOND (2026) expands this vision into a continuous 45-minute sonic journey inspired by transcendence, altered states of consciousness and the deep parallels between nature and the inner landscape.
