Heinz Neubrand was an Austrian pianist, composer, and arranger who was born as Karl Heinz Neubrand in 1921. He achieved early professional recognition as a child prodigy, debuting at the Wiener Konzerthaus in 1933. Following World War II, he hosted the radio program German Made Easy on the Blue Danube Network and performed as a soloist at the Sansibar in Vienna. Neubrand is famous for his prolific career as a film and television composer, producing scores for over 400 productions, including Traumrevue (1959) and Die schwarze Kobra (1963). His discography includes the series of recordings Intime Barmusik (1949), which featured him on the Hammond organ. In 1980, he was awarded the professional title of Professor. He died in 1998.
