Michael Heck is a German composer and singer born on July 8, 1964, in Herborn. Following his education, he served as a police officer while performing as a DJ and a member of a rock group. He later left the police force to focus on professional composition and performance. Heck spent time in Nashville, where he received musical guidance from Joe Melson. He released his studio album Atlantis in 1999 and Mein Land der Fantasie in 2001. During that year, he also recorded the singles “Komm, wir machen das Leben zur Party” and “Oh, Jessie”. Subsequent releases included the albums Flammendes Herz (2003) and Windsurfer (2008). In 2013, Heck signed with MCP Sound & Media and recorded the album Michael Heck singt die schönsten Lieder von Ronny. He portrayed himself as a musician in the 2017 film Dieter Not Unhappy. His discography included the 2025 release Meine Lieblingslieder – Die Schlager-Zeitmaschine und Jukebox Hits.
