Mehdi Nacer, a.k.a Heroe, is a 30-year-old singer-songwriter of Moroccan origin, who has made Paris his adopted city for ten years.
Inspired by the pop of Daughter, RY X and Haux, Heroe lets sweet nostalgia shine through his Lo-Fi-Pop-sounding guitar melodies and enveloping vocals full of reverb. All of these elements define the Heroe’s universe, a joyful grief, the kind of song you play in a movie scene, which you listen to with as much passion as contemplation.
In October 2021, he released "My Heart is Bleeding" with the Bootleg Boy, a Lo-Fi heavyweight on YouTube (4.3 M subscribers), and in partnership with Sony Music UK. He then released a new EP with Aurora Vibes in September 2022. It's against this backdrop that he presents us today with his new EP “You” due December 22, which includes the singles, "About You", supported by Apple Music ("Indie + Chill") and Tidal ("New Arrivals: Global Pop") released on June 16, and "Numb", released on October 20.
