Nikolay Khozyainov, a Russian pianist born on July 17, 1992, in Blagoveshensk, began playing piano at age five. He debuted at the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory at seven and graduated from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory with a gold medal in 2010. Khozyainov has performed at Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, Salle Gaveau, and collaborated with orchestras such as the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra and Sydney Symphony Orchestra. His discography also included works by Chopin, Liszt, and Schubert. He notably won first prize at the IX C.Filtsch International Piano Competition in Romania (2004) and was a finalist at the XVI International F. Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw (2010).
