Opera Magna, a symphonic power metal band from Valencia, Spain, was founded in 1997 by Enrique Mompó and Francisco Javier Nula. Their debut demo, Ópera prima, featured the tracks "Horizontes de gloria", "Tierras de tormento" and "La sangre del enemigo". In 2006, Opera Magna released their first full-length album, El último caballero, with José Vicente Broseta on vocals. The band's subsequent releases include Poe (2010), a concept album inspired by the works of Edgar Allan Poe, featuring collaborations with notable figures such as Luis Posada and Julia Möller, Del amor y otros demonios, which was released in three acts between 2014 and 2019, and Of Love and Other Demons (2023).
