Headnoise, an American hardcore punk rock band, was formed in 1994 in Orange County, Los Angeles. The group, known for their guitar-driven and powerfully fast sound, released their debut EP, Headnoise, in 2000. Headnoise quickly gained traction within the Southern California-based JCHC underground movement, sharing stages with notable bands such as DI and Agent Orange. In 2001, the band released No Compromise, followed by Remix in 2002 and 99 and Wanting in 2003. The band relocated to Chicago in 2000 to join Jesus People USA (JPUSA). In 2005, they released For Now We Know: In Part 1 and announced their retirement in the winter of 2005. They briefly reunited from 2011 to 2012 and again in 2017 with a new lineup.
