Hailing from Karasjok, Norwegian joik band Rolffa (stylized rOlfFa) was formed in 2006 by Rolf Morten Anti Amundsen (vocals, guitar) and Nils Mikael Hætta Hansen (guitar, vocals). Amundsen was still in high school when he came up with the melody for his song "Partyjoik", which he recorded in the family studio in the garage at home. He quickly formed a band and recorded the album Partyjoik (2008), which was a huge success and led to a tour with eleven musicians. The band breathes new life into Norwegian traditional music with the following albums Dálveijat (2012), Buot - Complete (2013) and Nu e det party igjen! (2014), featuring their two biggest hits "Hjerteknuser" and "Toppløs". The band undergoes several changes before being reborn in 2021. Several singles are released before a return to the local charts with "Ingen andre e som du" (No. 30).
